Our dedicated officers go the extra mile for our members.  The officers are constantly working behind the scenes on behalf of the Sacramento County Official Court Reporters.

Board Members may be contacted by sending an email to: SOCRAmatters@gmail.com

President
Alison Saltonstall, CSR 14003

Alison has held her CSR license since 2015. She has served on our union board for three years, representing the court reporters’ unit. This year she has proudly taken on the role of President of SOCRA.

Alison’s main passion and drive is to champion for safe working conditions and to advocate for job security for present and future court reporters. She has been extremely fortunate to have the support from extraordinary mentors along the way and hopes to give back for all that she has received.

Vice President

Maricela Carranza, CSR 13178

Maricela has been a Certified Shorthand Reporter since March of 2007. As a freelance reporter she enjoyed covering depositions, trials, hearings, and arbitrations, as well as covering criminal matters as a pro tem for neighboring counties. Since becoming an official in March of 2019, she has continued to grow as a reporter and is always working on perfecting her craft. She is our go-to for technical support and all things crafty. She also takes pride in advocating for and promoting our industry.

In her spare time, Maricela enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, hiking, and camping,
